We'll see, but given the Prime minister's past statements you wonder how sincere their commitment really is and how far they're prepared to go.
However, government--any government--can only do so much, they can't legislate lifestyle changes.
Change will come, and the public will play a key role, but at a price.
How much will we sacrifice and how big a change in our standard of living will we tolerate to do our part?
Consider this. Sit outside any drive-thru and watch the backlog of cars-- vehicles idling--waiting to get their order.
Multiply that by all the drive-thrus across Canada.
One small but significant example. How strong is our commitment: would you change, or just expect the other guy to do it?
