On Sunday, Dec. 17, the Penetanguishene Legion held its annual Christmas party for children and, at that time, had the draw for the Christmas raffle. The winners of the draw were: Alex Duggan of Penetanguishene - $1,000; Anne Boddaruk of Port McNicoll - $300 and Paul Copegog, Christian Island - $200. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and thereby supported this event.

This year's party was a huge success with about 120 children attending. The children had a wonderful time, all receiving a gift from Santa and being entertained by Douglas John Cameron, who put on a fantastic show, Stephen Shields (aka Herby the Clown), and Gwen Tuck. A big thank you to the many volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a great success and so much fun for the children.
