MIDHURST – County of Simcoe paramedics are accustomed to helping people, but their services are about to take a festive turn with the seventh annual holiday toy drive.
Since 2002, the initiative has collected more than 14,600 toys, $16,000 and 7,000 pounds of food from county residents. Everything collected goes to local children and families in need.
Donations will be accepted at Santa Claus parades across the county, at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre in Midhurst during regular business hours, and also at all Simcoe County paramedic stations.
These include the stations in Midland (395 Cranston Cres.), Coldwater and Elmvale, each of which has an outdoor drop box.
