Willowdale MPP David Zimmer, parliamentary assistant to the attorney general, announces $50,000 for skills training at Midland’s Weber Manufacturing Technologies Inc. on June 30. The investment is part of a workforce initiative called AIME (Achieving Innovation and Manufacturing Excellence). AIME was introduced by the province to reduce the training costs manufacturers incur when trying to introduce cutting-edge processes, tools and technologies. Weber Manufacturing, founded in 1962, is a mold manufacturer in automotive, aerospace, and home and building products.
