Junior C hockey players from the Georgian Bay region will step into the spotlight later this month in Mount Forest.
Earlier this week, members of the Midland Flyers and Penetang Kings were chosen to participate in the Ontario Hockey Association’s Junior C all-star game.
Kings netminder Jacob McKendry will be joined by teammates Matt Mawdsley, Tyler Lumley, Curtis Watson, Brad Baum, head coach Dylan Seca and trainer Brian Lemieux.
Gavin McIlwee has been selected from the Flyers.
Ex-Kings goaltender Chris Daniels will represent the Stayner Siskins at the game.
The best of the Georgian Bay Mid-Ontario Junior C Hockey League will face the Western Junior C Hockey League’s best at 2 p.m. on Nov. 22.
The Georgian Bay league will host the game in 2010.
