King Place Retirement Residence hosted a “Drumming on the Bay” fundraiser on Saturday, allowing residents and guests to dance to the sounds of the 60-piece Northern Lights Steel Orchestra from Muskoka. The event also featured a Caribbean-inspired lunch. Donations were accepted for the David Suzuki Foundation. “Our seniors are very aware and engaged in the plight of our environment and the environmental issues all generations of Canadians are faced with,” said marketing director Julie Anne Maltby.
